This document has been created in accordance to the requirements proposed by the staff and students at Queensford College. 

Objective: Documenting the steps required to scan a document for the students.

Note: All students need to use the Level 4 printer to scan documents as per Queensford Guidelines.

Methodology

 The printer should have a Log In screen, as shown below.

 Use the keypad (shown in the picture below) available to input your personal PIN code, then click the login button.

Next, press the Main Menu button available on the keypad as shown below. You should get a screen as shown below.


  • On the screen above, click Scan and Send. You should get a screen shown below.

  • On the screen above, click New Destination. You should get a screen shown below.

  • If you want to scan double-sided page, please click on 

2-sided Original and Book type to scan both front and back pages.       

  • On the screen above, click E-mail. You should get a screen shown below.

  • On the screen above, fill in your E-mail ID (Queensford Registered) by using the on-screen keyboard, and then click OK. You should get a screen shown below.

  • On the screen above, confirm your E-mail address and click OK. You should get a screen shown below.

  • Make sure that you have kept the document to be scanned correctly in the tray and then press the Start button as shown the picture above.

Note: You might be required to enter your printer ID and password at this stage. If so, kindly fill in your printer ID and password.

  • Finally, press Log Out and check your mailbox for the provided email for the scanned documents.
